Thank you my dolls

We, (my husband & myself) had a lovely dinner today. The kids are amazing. My daughter Prakriti & My niece Shuvedha had planned to surprise us and they did. They created an ambience of an Italian Restaurant in our room. The menu card was given to us and the dinner was excellent. We gave 10 out of 10 for the dinner menu. First we had Cabbage & Peanut salad, Mixed Vegetable Soup, Marinated Tomatoes & Tomatoe & Cheese Spagetti and the desert was the vanilla icecream in Aamras. Out of this world! Sad thing is that they didn't allow us to click pictures of the food.

Totally it was an amazing experience . We both had a very nice time. Thank you lovelies! for the woderful thought and the dinner.

Nutritious Mooli toast

I thought I will share the new recipe i have made today. I have moolis which i use only to make sambhar and parathas as my husband doesnot like mooli subji. So, for today's morning breakfast i made mooli subji with tofu as a toast stuffing. It was really yummy!! Here we go,

Mooli - 2 nos.
onion - 2 nos.
capsicum 2 nos.
green chillie - 1
tofu - 1/2 a block
salt
turmeric
coriander powder 1/2 tsp
oil 1 tsp

Method :- Cut all the vegetables. In a pan, pour a teaspoon of oil and fry onionand the green chilli a bit and add the cut vegetables. Sprinkle little water and add turmeric and salt. Once the vegetables are cooked, add the small cut tofu and coriander powder. Stir and cover and cook it for 3 minutes. You can garnish it with coriander leaves.
Thats all your nutritius stuffing for the toast is ready. Enjoy!!

Blessed

The other day my hubby dear mentioned that he is blessed. This triggered my thought. Yes, I must agree that we are blessed by god to have so many things in life. I was a bit depressed about not being able to find piano/violin teachers for my daughter in Pune. That's when he mentioned this. Count your blessings! Yes, I must agree with him. But human mind is such that when things are not in your favour, you feel so depressed.

But I had a lovely time chatting with my friend from Japan the other day. Hope i will get to find some tutors for my daughter soon.

Yesterday, we had vada pav for dinner. My husband's cousin had come with his family and we had a great time having vada pav and chatting with them. Home made batata vada with pav (store bought). It was yummy.

First day As

This is my first post as a blogger. I love browsing the net for anything and everything. Oh! I have been thinking about many things in my life. Its been 2 months since we are back from Japan. We love Tokyo and the people there.

Hi guys, I am really missing you all. But at the same time I am happy to be back in India. My daughter, amazing kid, is well adjusted here and has started enjoying her school. Oh by the way, she was so happy that she won a medal for the best acting cateogory, in her school. I was so worried about her. All my worries are over, i guess. She was dancing and screaming when she came home the other day. Thank God!!

Pune is getting warmer and we are ready to welcome this summer. We love you all, friends.
